Yes actually. Yes it can literally kill us to not assume that men around us are sexual predators and take precautions accordingly.

Because it only takes one dangerous predatory guy to traumatize or even kill us and there’s a lot of them and none of you wear signs.

I assume every man is a potential predator. The good ones understand why I do this and go out of their way to make me feel safe. Like…a good man is one who realizes that following me for a long time on the sidewalk will make me feel uncomfortable, so he crosses the street or hurries around me so he’s in front of me. I always really appreciate that.
