Kierarktina in Lockdown
Because I have a backlog of content I owe you all, and because I have so many new followers (HI!!) I have written a second lockdown fic hehe. Please be nice to me, I haven’t written creatively for a while :’)
Also this one is kinda PG too!
Mark woke up
before Cristina, which wasn’t usual as she was often up and making breakfast,
training or sitting outside reading by the time that he got himself out of bed.
It had taken him a little while, but he had definitely mastered the art of
sleeping in.
He climbed slowly and quietly from their bed, knowing how easy it was to wake
up a Shadowhunter who was trained to be ready for a fight at any moment. She
stirred and he froze, but she made no other sign of waking up so he pulled a
pair of loose fitting sweatpants from the trunk at the end of their bed and
left the room on tiptoe. The first thing he did once he had cleared the room
was turn on Cristina’s laptop which rested on the dining room table, there had
been warnings about a lockdown due to a virus spreading across the world and he
wanted to know what the latest news was. Cristina and himself had been talking
about the possibility of moving to Faerie if a lockdown was called, they could
spend time with their husband in the cottage that they loved, and nobody would
expect to see them. While the laptop booted up, Mark went into the kitchen to
make tea with honey, but he stopped abruptly in surprise to find that the
kitchen wasn’t empty.
Kieran was standing at the kitchen sink, washing strawberries and mumbling to
himself about the chemicals mundanes used to grow fruit.
“they could spend time with their husband in the cottage that they loved“ that line right there, phew :DD
